Thanksgiving weekend the place to be was Portage Lake. The cold temps and no recent snow had created the world's most scenic ice rink. Not wanting to miss out, I went to AMH and bought myself a pair of nordic skate blades and then Linda and I headed for Portage. My camera froze (it was 12 below zero F), so I didn't get any pictures. So instead I am borrowing this cool panorama that Tim Kelley took. You can see Portage Glacier on the left and down towards the visitor's center on the right.
