Soaking up the sun

The pass we went through is the lowpoint on the ridgeline in this picture, above Ian's left shoulder. Its not an easy walk-over. When we attempted this trip last August, we had to turn back because the ridge was out of reach - there was a cliff between the top of the glacier and the ridge. This year it looked more promising, with much higher snow levels.
