From the lake, I kept heading up and made it up to this alpine meadow in about an hour, which was still covered in snow from the night before. The snow line had been about 9500' but it was melting quickly. This picture was taken at about 11,500'. The altitude made the hiking slightly harder, but I felt pretty good considering how thin the air was.
