Columbia Glacier with seven miles of icebergs in front of it. The icebergs prevent any boats from getting closer than this. The water is 1500 feet deep at the glacier face. The glacier is in 'catastrophic recession' receding almost 100 feet per day! That makes for a lot of ice breaking off and clogging the bay.
